Zdenka Daucik was born December 23,1942 in Bratislava Slovakia. When she immigrated to the United States, she became a Licensed Massage Practitioner where she practiced and taught for decades in Redmond, Washington.  In Spain, she was a Physiotherapist where she not only received her formal training, but also had an outlier benefit of learning to quickly assess injury and treat from her father, Ferdinand Daucik who was the coach of FC Barcelona and many other clubs in Spain. 

Zdenka's work requires accuracy to pinpoint pain points and scar tissue on ligaments to provide for effective pain relief.  Most athletes working on staying in superior, competitive shape continue to work with me due to this work as many massage therapists do not work on ligaments, much less detailed treatment work. This work is much more focused than a stereotypical Swedish style massage.

Unlike most Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques, this style is quick and efficient at moving inflammation, bruises, and toxins. While I'm also trained in MLD from Diane Kincaid, I often utilize this technique into everyday sessions.
